What Does an EICR Involve?
An EICR is a full assessment of your electrical installation, including:
- Condition of consumer unit (fuse board)
- Socket outlets, switches, lighting points
- RCD protection and earth bonding
- Circuit insulation resistance and continuity tests
- Visual signs of damage, overloading or overheating
- Identification of deviations from BS 7671 (18th Edition)
