Welcome to Boraq Electrical Solutions Ltd. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. Definitions

• “Company”, “we”, “our”, “us” refers to Boraq Electrical Solutions Ltd.

• “Client”, “you”, “your” refers to any individual or business using our services.

• “Services” refers to all electrical inspections, reports, remedial works, installations, and consultations provided by us.

2. Scope of Services

We provide a range of electrical services including but not limited to:

• Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)

• Emergency lighting inspections

• Solar PV installations

• Electrical fault finding and diagnostics

• Remedial works based on inspection findings

All work is carried out by qualified electricians in accordance with BS 7671 (18th Edition) regulations and NAPIT standards.

3. Quotations & Pricing

• All quotations are valid for 14 days from the date of issue.

• Prices quoted are exclusive of VAT, unless otherwise stated.

• Additional work not included in the initial quote will be charged separately, subject to your prior approval.

4. Booking & Cancellations

• Bookings are confirmed once written or verbal agreement is received.

• 24-hour notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.

• Missed appointments or late cancellations may incur a call-out charge.

5. Access & Site Requirements

• You are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to all parts of the property.

• Any delays or hazards that prevent us from completing the work may result in additional charges or rescheduling.

6. Reporting & Documentation

• EICRs and other reports will be provided in digital format within 1–3 business days after inspection.

• Reports are based on the visible and accessible parts of the electrical installation at the time of inspection.

• We cannot be held liable for faults hidden behind walls, floors, or fixtures unless specifically agreed in advance.

7. Payment Terms

• Payment is due upon completion of works or within 7 days of invoice, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• Late payments may incur interest charges in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act 1998.

8. Warranties & Guarantees

• All work is carried out to a high professional standard.

• Remedial work and installations are covered by a 12-month workmanship warranty, unless stated otherwise.

• Manufacturer warranties apply to parts and components used.

9. Liability

• We accept no liability for existing faults, wear and tear, or damage caused by conditions prior to our service.

• We shall not be liable for loss of business, income, or data resulting from delays or system failures unless caused by our proven negligence.

• Our total liability is limited to the value of the service provided.

10. Compliance & Certification

• All work is conducted in compliance with UK electrical regulations.

• Where required, certificates (e.g., EICR, Minor Works, Installation Certificates) will be issued to the client.

• It is your responsibility to submit reports to relevant authorities or landlords if applicable.

11. Confidentiality & Data Protection

• We respect your privacy and protect your personal information under the UK GDPR.

• We do not share your data with third parties except where legally required or with your written consent.

12. Disputes & Governing Law

• These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

• Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

• We encourage resolving any disagreements through mutual communication before legal action.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website and take immediate effect.
